DEARJOURNAL, today's the day. a fresh start. a new life. today was my first visit to kentucky. well, more specifically, lexington. it really is an awesome place. and just so, green. and beautiful. but not only is it horse paradise, they've got like the biggest mall i have ever seen. it's amazing. seriously. so anyways, i drove around a bit today and eventually, with a bit of help from the locals, i managed to find the ranch that mum and dad want to buy me. okay, so it's not really what i was expecting, but it's still real nice of them to do this for me, so there's no way in heck i'm complaining about it. really, it just needs a bit of work. okay, a lot of work. but whatever. nothing i can't handle i guess. right, so anyways, there's the house. it's a pretty big, meaning it'll take me ages to clean the whole place. two story, wooden. the paint's sort of fading and it's not all that attractive, but it'll serve it's purpose. actually, a fresh coat of paint and it'll look like new. maybe. but yeah, it's big. four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, living, dining, kitchen, study, the whole shebang. so it's perfect, really, expect that it definately needs a bit of work. just to make it all pretty like. apart from the house, theres also a big red barn, which is an okay condition as far as i saw. so thats good. what's not good though, are the stables. it's practically falling apart. so that will definately need to go. i could just try renovating it, but it'd probably just be easier to bulldoze it and start over. anyways, i don't know why i'm even worrying about this yet. it's not like we've bought it or anything. yet.. well i'd best be off. it's been a long day and i really do need some sleep. after all, tomorrows a big day too. i've got to go register at the univesity and all that. so anyways, until next time, byee!
LOVE,ABBEYSUE.
