Logan watched with interest as the great chestnut moved forward and butted his shoulder. He protested and felt the force of the push cause him to step backwards a step. Leo may be more powerful as a horse, but Logan could beat his butt in human form. Logan grinned as he heard Leo whicker to the mare and suddenly gallop off ... Hang on. What?
" Hey, wait! " Logan sighed, what'd he done now? Instead he turned to look at the mare and smiled shyly. Yes, Logan was shy. Odd huh, as his brother was so forward and confident, yet it always took Logan that little bit longer to be comfortable around people, to be able to trust. He left the space between the two of them and looked curiously at the mare, noticing when her chocolate orbs turned deep blue, feeling drawn into them and without realising, stepping forward. She must be a shapeshifter too, but Logan did not wish to speak allowed. Instead, he turned away from the stunning creature to stare at the space where Leo had lefted. It felt silly standing int the silence that welled around them, but he was never good at speaking to strangers, and especially not those who didn't speak back. Logan glanced at Abbey when he thought she wasn't looked, his blue orbs raking over her mahogany colouring, the kind, stunning eyes, the slight, slender figure. She was a beauty and she made a beautiful horse. Logan almost grinned at this thought, it was so weird.
Finally, he was able to hear pounding feet. Huh, had Leo changed? But ... unless he had clothes ... Logan shuddered, glad that he didn't have these troubles, much as he wished he was anything but a boring ol' human. Being supernatural would've easily been able to help him in rugby and riding. Not that he was incapable of either. Infact, he was a pretty good sportsman. Well, maybe a supernatural brain would be useful. . . er definetly yes.
Suddenly, Logan watched Leo burst toward them both and he grinned. Ah, so he had clothes. Phew, crisis averted. At least he hadn't been running away. Logan stepped forward to garb his brother in a hug, also noting the different in height and grinning wider. His grin was impish, less cheeky and more boyish then his brothers and he looked down on his brother with a raised eyebrow. " Hey, s'not my fault you got all the short genes in the family. You know where're the shortest out of our brothers in the family. Blimey, even Lily's almost as tall as you. " He bantered back. He was pretty playful when he knew somebody, it was just when he didn't know somebody that he was shy and came across fairely sensitive. Infact, Logan was a very empathic person, and often felt and knew what other people where feeling even if they didn't say so. He knew when somebody needed cheering up, or peace and quiet. He was charming and charasmatic when he wanted to be, but that shy side would always stop him being too confident, or indeed arrogant.
When Abbey was introduced he smiled shly again at her. " Hi. " He muttered softly, meeting her eyes for the first time and catching his breath. Damn they were beautiful. He felt like he'd known her for longer than a few minutes when he allowed himself to be allured by the depths of her eyes. " I'm Logan .. but you probably already know that. " He blushed, embarrased and was glad when Leo spoke again, and he was able to tease him. " Yeah, i bet. " but inside he was thinking ... 'well maybe you could step aside so i can get to know her better.' but even as he thought that he felt unsure. He had never usually been liked by girls, despite his good appearance they always felt his shy nature held them back. He approached a relationship always with caution and it took him a while to trust. Girls complained that he took everything too slow, but he couldn't help being cautious. He was just an ordinary human after all, and she was a shapeshifter, beautiful and powerful. Would she even like him? At Leo's other question, Logan turned back to him and smiled angelically.
" You know what i'm doing here, big bro. " He paused. Yes, he was younger than Leo. By fifteen minutes i mean c'mon. How picky could ya get? " I'm moving into that grand house of yours. I been meaning to move away for ages, and here seems perfect. I already found a rugby team who'll take me on. And they only practise a few times a week so i can focus on riding too. " He grinned again, then felt the grin falter. " You do want me here. don't you? " And that was that feeling of insecurity again. That was why he was so shy. The feeling of rejection was one that he was used to, but could not get accustomed to. It made him feel sad and useless, and he felt it more and more often becuase of his shyness. Gah could he ever become more secure? Maybe here .. it seemed to peaceful and kind. Then again, appearances where always deceptive.

Waking to the light hiting my eyes, i got up and nearly screamed to death. My eyes started to urn for a second as i reached for my sun glasses. I noticed that i was the only one in the meadow. I then got up, saddled Midnight and looked for a trail that told me where they went. I knew I should not follow them, but i wanted to make sure that Leo was ok. I then got up on my mare and found a path that had just been made.
When i got out of the sun, i took off my glasses and felt relief. Good thing that the damn sun cant get me while i am in the forest. Following a path for about 10 minutes, i started to hear voices ahead of me. I then put Midnight into a canter till i noticed another person. I stopped Midnight and let the mare walk up to them. Midnight nickered at Leo. I smiled. He was in his human form. I was happy now. I could finally remember what he looked like the last time i was with him.

Abbey Sue pushed him playfully with her maw as he spoke, before chuckling lightly. She watched as the chestnut thoroughbred stepped forwards his human brother, nudging his shoulder. She couldn't help but think how awkward it must be sometimes, having a horse for a brother. She smiled slightly at the thought. But no, guess he wasn't really a horse. Even if he did look like one right now. She was slightly surprised when he turned to talk to her again, auds turning towards him to listen. As he finished, she smiled and took a few tentative steps forwards. "Fine, but if I do get kidnapped, I am soo blaming you." She said with a chuckle-snort sort of thing. She craned her boa, as she stratched her crown towards the guy, but she wasn't exactly sure of what to do. Once again, this communication barrier was turning out to be quite a hassel. Suddenly, Leo turned on his haunches, galloping off with barely an explanation. Two minutes? Sure, she'd wait. Just stand there, not knowing what to do, what to say or how to act until he came back. Not that the guy would understand what she was saying even if she did speak. And anyways, where was he going? Okay, so she couldn't help feeling a bit annoyed and even like he'd just ditched her. Hadn't he? Whatever. At least she wasn't alone. Though with him gone, the silence between them was definately quite awkward. The guy simply stood there, smiling shyly, as if he didn't know what to do. Well, she didn't blame him. She hadn't a clue either so. Then, quite unexpectedly, he stepped forwards. Was he going to kidnap her after all? Okay, so it didn't look like it, but the thought still did cross her mind, making her chuckle on the inside. This Logan character really didn't seem the type of person to try and kidnap a horse, especially knowing that that horse was really a shapshifter and could easily morph into a cougar and claw his eyes out. Yeah, but then again, most people would be smart enough to refrain from doing that.
Auds turned as a sound reached them. About time. It was the sound of pounding feet, human feet. Leo was coming back. Well, she couldn't deny that she was glad. After all, not being able to talk.. wait. Human feet? No, not him too. Now even though he'd be back, she'd still not have anyone to talk to. Well this was just perfect. Although, she was slightly curious about what he looked like as a human. But no, curius or not, she was still determined to be annoyed at him. As the other guy turned around, she figured he must've heard him too. Should be close. Eventually she saw movement in the trees and made sure to wear her most annoyed expression on her lovely features. But as he came running through those two oak trees, all traces of any annoyance disappeared. Naww, he was so cute as a human, and she laughed a little on the inside. She waited, watching as he spoke to his brother, hugging him and ruffling his oh so perfect hair (for which she almost yelled at him for). Let them have their moment, she thought. After all, they didn't happen very often. But enough was enough. Seemed he was forgetting something. Or rather, someone. She whinnied softly, walking over and nudging him playfully in the shoulder. She snorted happily as he introduced her and turned so she was slightly more involved in the conversation. Even though she couldn't actually speak and take part. Actually she was pretty annoyed that he hadn't thought of bringing any clothes for her. I mean, it wouldn't have been too much of a hassle, and then she could have gotten out of this horse's body and introduce herself. As he continued with the introduction, she nodded her head slowly. It was funny to think that she had only just met him, when it seemed as if they'd known each other for years. Perhaps it was just the fact that they were so similar. In fact, they were practically the same person, though I'm sure I've mentioned that before.
As the other guy spoke, she turned to look at him, burring softly in a replied greeting sort of way. Gosh, this not being able to talk was annoying. which she showed by quickly glancing over at Leo and giving him the best glare she could as a horse. As the two of them started chatting, she listened, but didn't really pay all that much attention. Instead she was wondering if she could somehow sneak away, run to her place, find some clothes to getchanged into, and then run back. But her house was pretty far away, and while she was fast in her animal forms, as a human, she wasn't exactly into running marathons or anything like that. Actually, she was more of a sprinter. Pretty good at it too. For 100 meters at least, and then she died. So running all the way back here from her place did not seem like a good idea to her. Suddenly Logan said something that surprised her slightly, though in a good way, making her turn to look at him, her bright blue eyes wide and curious. So he was moving here was he? Well, that was good. She tried not to look too happy about the news as she flicked her tail casually, pretending instead to look somewhat bored and still annoyed at Leo for not thinking of her in his rush to be human again. Too bad it wasn't really working. Why did that boy have to be so darn lovable. She turned back to Logan once more just to see his smile falter. He spoke and Abbey Sue fought back the urge to give him a big hug. Who cares if he doesn't want you, she wanted to scream. Cause she definately wanted him here. Not that she was planning on admitting it any time soon. Not that she could now even if she had wanted to. She turned to Leo, staring at him accusingly, as if saying that if he made him leave, that she would never speak to him again. Horse or not. And anyways, how could he kick out his own baby brother even before he had moved in. Now that was just plain heartless. Not that she really expected Leo to not want him. But still, she just wanted to make sure that he didn't.
Auds swiveled at their base as a faint sound reached them, but she couldn't really tell what it was. It was too far away for her to distinguish, so she didn't really expect those two humans to hear it at all. However it made her think of Sorya. Could it be her? After all, they had sort of left her there by herself. Asleep. In the middle of the forest. That couldn't have been very smart of them. But she had her mare, so it wasn't like she was completely defenceless. Plus, vampyre? In any case, Abbey Sue was pretty sure she could take care of herself. Oh. Suddenly she realised as she was looking in the direction they came, the direction from where the sound came, the direction of where Sorya slept, that she could actually see. It was almost dawn, and the forest was now filled with a dim light as the sun peeked its golden head out over the horizon. Of course, most of the forest was still pretty dark, the thick canopy of leaves above casting a shadow over the litter covered ground. But still, if she had been in the sun, Sorya would be in quite a bit of pain right now. Well, her eyes would hurt in any case. She was about to go look for her when she heard the rhythmical thudding of horsehooves, pounding against the hard earth. She figured that would be Sorya now. Oh gosh. Her eyes. She had completely forgotten about them. Sighing, she closed them momentarily, before opening them once more to reveal the dull brown that had returned. She walked around the two guys and stopped behind Leo, her head resting lightly on his shoulder. Who knows. Perhaps she was just some wild horse who he'd managed to convince to trust him or something like that. Or maybe she was just one of his horses. Whatever. She'd let him explain that part. After all, she didn't talk, she was just an ordinary horse. She watched as the vampyre came cantering over on her black mare, who nickered when she saw them. Or more specifically, Leo. Though Abbey Sue nickered back just to be friendly. She wondered what the girl would say. What they would say too. Oh, what would happen now.

Leo could feel Abbey's accusing eyes on him, and he met her eyes with a cheeky grin. She was sure as hell annoyed with him. But honestly, it wasn't his fault he'd decided to hide his clothes close-by! Leo childishly stuck out his toung at the mare and grinned again. " Not my fault i was smart enough to hide my clothes in the forst and you weren't. " He said. He was bloody glad he did too, otherwise how would he be able to talk to Logan? Then again, now he couldn't talk to Abbey. Oh crap! Sighing, Leo shook his head and met Abbey's annoyed glance, now feeling a swell of guilt rise within him. Urgh, damn her and her penetrating gaze! Thinking hard, Leo turned back to his brother as he saw his smile falter. Aww, he couldn't possibly force his brother out into the cold. And he'd been to so much trouble, finding a new team and everything. Plus, he was his twin, his best mate, how could he say no.
" Oh fine. But i swear if you annoy me, i will kick your scrawny lil' butt out the door. Along with those horses i'm sure you've already settled in. " Leo gave in, giving his brother a half stern look. Sure, Logan was shy, but when it came down to it, he was just as cheeky and fun as Leo was. Leo rolled his eyes in mock annoyance before returning a grin at Logan. " But i'm gonna have to take off again for a second. I think if i don't hunt down some clothes for Abbey, she is gonna kill me. " He bit his lip and turned to Abbey with an esasportated face. " I'll shove my clothes just inside the forest. Can you grab them and make sure they don't go missing? " He asked Logan, and before waiting for an answer, he yanked off his t-shirt and thrust it into Logans arms. He just wanted to get there and back quickly and he wasn't really self-concious as the sunlight glanced off his tanned, well toned chest. Instead, he already felt the shiver of apprehension and the shimmer of the air around him as he pounded into the trees and hastily pulled off his jeans and boxers, leaving them in a little pile on the floor and leaping forwards. Mid-leap, he felt the fur explode out of his body, and he landed forward in a run on his new paws. His burnt golden and ebony striped fur glistened in the half-light, his paws huge and powerful and he threw himself through the forest and flew across the land beyond. He was headed for the town, where he would be able to find a small clothes shop and steal clothes from there. It felt wrong, but he had no idea where Abbey's house was, and he would drop some money off later .. silently of course.
When he reached the town, Leo paused. It would be incredibly difficult to explain why a huge, mighty tiger stood still in the center of a deserted lane at dawn, and so he stole forward toward the clothes store. He prayed it would not be alarmed as he stared at the door and thought. His reflection stared back at him, the eyes where black rather than his usual vivid green, and they looked like the hungry eyes of a hunter. His body screamed power, and when he bared his teeth in a grimmance, he appeared more menacing than ever, the long daggers gleaming and sharp.
In one, quick powerful movement, Leo backed up a few steps and pushed himself forward. One stride, two strides, leap. He smashed straight through the glass and landed with a dull thud on the carpet, shattered glass falling with a silver cascade around him. His paws where cut on the sharp shards, and the blood stained the carpet a dull scarlett. Crap! This was evidence he did not need. Of course, the blood would show it was that of a tiger, not a human, which was one advantance to being a shapeshifter. His DNA would shift depending on the animal, and it would be impossible to trace back to him. As Leo paused, there was no alarm, and he breathed a deep sigh before padding across the room and yank a t-shirt and jeans off the hanger. He had no idea what size they where, but if they didn't fit, then Abbey could come and get them herself.
Quietly, Leo took too strides and lept through the sizable gap in the glass window, before running swiftly back down the lane and across the field. To his left, running beside his little terrier dog, a young boy paused in disbelief, and the dog jumped up and stole the twig, before racing away playfully. Leo pushed himself faster, and dissapeared into the trees before the child could even blink. He rushed through the forest, paws thudded against the floor in a four beat rythmn before he skidded to a stop infront of Logan and Abbey, breathing hard. He unlocked his strong jaws and nudged the clothes toward Abbey, before grabbing his own clothes and changing back to a human. He through on his clothes, and hurried back to the path, still pulling his t-shirt over his head and breathing a little more evenly.
" Now you can't be mad at me. " He said to Abbey, smiling. He was sure both of them would be annoyed for the dissapearance, but oh well. " But i think we should hurry back. It's starting to liven up and i'm really tired now. " He said, feeling a huge yawn stretch his mouth, and he stretched out his arms, feeling the bones click weaily. Urgh, this was way too much running in the night. His less-sensitive ears caught the distant scream of a girl, and Leo bit his lip. Crap, it sounded like Sorya. But what could harm somebody out here? He'd come across no paths in the night, and to be honest, outside in the forest had been a pretty stupid place to sleep. He knew it was most likely the arrival of the sun that had caused the pain, and he was surprised when he did not feel panic for her. If they had imprinted, wouldn't he feel her pain? But the thing was, Leo couldn't help but think they'd rushed into this thing waay too quick, and if he was honest with himself, he was sure that his feelings for Abbey where already becoming a little bit more than friendship. God what was going on with him these days? This new air seemed to be confusing his mind!

Logan watched as the mare named Abbey glared at her brother, and he wondered what Leo had done. Had he been annoying and teased her, or was it that he seemed to be kinda ignoring her a little. He smiled shly when Abbey whickered and butted him, and he raised his eyebrows at Leo. " Tut tut, it's rude to ignore people. Especially good looking mares. " He teased, then blushed, realising that he'd kinda spoken his thought. Urgh he hated doing that, and he felt the heat creep up his neck and stain his cheeks.
At Leo's comment about clothes, Logan frowned in confusion. Oh, it seemed obvious now, for her dissaproving looks for about Leo not having the courtisy to find her some clothes. It made Logan just a little bit embarassed to realise that she was basically naked right now, and if she chose to change her form, she would be totally exposed to him and Leo. Right, now he understood.
" Oh fine. But i swear if you annoy me, i will kick your scrawny lil' butt out the door. Along with those horses i'm sure you've already settled in. " And it was only then that Logan realised the open question in the air. Did Leo want him around. Maybe not, if it where to steal the pretty girls, like Abbey, but they where conrades, and they always got on really well ... well nearly always. Even with girls there'd never usually been a sticky situation. Now, Logan grinned impishly again, knowing too well that his two horses, Skylark and Hotspur. He'd never have wanted to leave them behind, so they'd moved with them, and they where already stabled next to leo's horses, Oblivion her her foal Bravado, and his older mare, Echo.
" Yeah, well i knew you'd say yes. Plus this way i can go riding today rather than spent time going home to pick 'em up. " He said, still grinning. Yes, here would be the perfect place to settle down for a while. But as he spoke again, Logan's smile dropped. He was going again, going where? Where the hell was he gonna be able to pick up some girls clothes? Unless there was something Leo wasn't telling him. Silently, Logan grabbed onto the t-shirt that was thrown at him and followed his brother's dissapearing back into the forest, grabbing up the clothes that where strewn over the ground, and vaugely seeing a huge golden and black striped beast in the distance. Though he'd chosen a fast animal, it would still take a while for him to get back again.
Logan sighed and walked back to Abbey, where he saw the golden light reaching further and further through the forest, eating away the damp mist, and bathing the woods in a gentle yellow glow. It must've been about 6am now and he was almost sure he could hear a girl in the distance, and a dog to his left, barking playfully. People must be getting up now, and it would be kinda odd to see a human and a horse standing awkwardly together.
" Urgh, i hate it when he does that. " Logan muttered to himself, frowning as he attempted to keep a hold on the bundle of disorganised clothes. He was kind of tired himself, having travelled most of the day and only slept a few hours before coming to look for Leo. He knew his brother usually went for a midnight stroll as an animal, and he'd joined him before. Odd as it sounded, his brother had even pushed him atop his back a few times, and taken off at an incredible pace. It was always exhillarating, but he would never be able to make anyone believe that he'd been atop a great lion, a bear and even a stag. And they'd all been his brother in 'disguise'. He was sure Abbey would be confused as to his comment about Leo always doing that.
" Well, you see, he's always taking off. If he gets angry, or excited or bored or something you just see a pile of clothes and the back of an animal thunderin' away. Sometimes he forgets the clothes and he has to pay for that later. " Logan grinned gently, his more playful side showing for a moment before he blushed and looked away from the brown mare. How weird could you get? Talking to a horse you know couldn't talk back, but could understand you.
It felt like a while, standing waiting for Leo's return, and Logan had no clue as to what to say. As the wind ruffled his hair one time, and shook it from his deep sky eyes and sighed, muttering again. " Urgh, stupid hair. Need to get it cut again. " before remembering that he wasn;t alone, and he was talking to himself. ...right. Finally, he heard the pounding of paws, and he glanced up to see a magnificent tiger padding toward him. Though he knew it was Leo (why would there be a tiger in the middle of a forest at dawn?) he couldn't help but freeze in shock, and feel his heart beat faster with adrenaline. He'd never seen his brother like this, and the magnificent tiger was a shock. Wow, how he wished he could be like that! He saw Leo thrown something toward Abbey and gathered it were clothes, then he lowered his arms so that the tiger could pick up the clothes. When he left, he noticed that the paw mark in the dust where bloody. What the hell? Watching his brother return pulling on his t-shirt, Logan again noticed the bloody shallow cuts on his hands and shook his head, making no comment. They must've been made by glass, and Logan wondered what exactly he'd done, but didn't really want to know. Stealing was wrong, but he knew Leo would try and put it right somehow.
" I would love a shower and some sleep. " Logan replied, feeling his own weariness. He loved early mornings, but not when he'd only had about 4hours sleep. He yawned after Leo did, knowing that it was contagious, and he watched Abbey with a kind eye, wondering if she was gonna carry on walking with them or not.

I urged Midnight forward. It kind of felt cold in the forest so i had fire come to me to keep me warm. But soon i stopped at least 100 feet from them and heard a faint growling infront of us. Midnight then stopped and took a few steps back. I then kicked her forward. But the same thing happened.
Midnight started pawing the growund when i tried to urge her forward. I then got her to move a few more feet when i noticed a montain lion standing infront of us. Midnight then reared. I was not ready for her to rear as i fell off and hit the gorund very hard. I could hear the faint growl coming towards me even though i was semi-consious. I was fading in and out. I finally soon made it to total consiousness when i heard Midnight running off and away from me. I knew that this was it. I knew that i was going to die. I then prayed to Nyx to help protect my family back home in Okalhoma. And that is when i dirfted off and was not aware of anything around me.
As i drifted off, i then noticed someone in a beautiful white dress. The dress was kind of a mix between a western and a native american dress. I then knew it was Nyx. The goddess of night. She told me that everything was alright and that she had sent Midnight to try and get some help. She also told me that she was going to protect my family even if i were to make it.

Auds turned towards the taller of the two brothers, Logan, as he spoke. If horses could blush, Abbey Sue was sure that she'd be red as a beetroot. But thankfully, they couldn't. However, it was still very nice of him to say something like that. She took a small step towards him and nuzzled his cheek breifly, before stepping back, her crown and gaze both lowered in sudden embarrassment. Eh, oops? Had she really just gone and nuzzled a complete stranger. Well that was a little odd, even for her. And yet, the guy didn't feel like a stranger. There was something about him, about those cool blue eyes that held such a surprising warmth to them, that just felt familiar. It felt good to be around him. Hearing Leo speak, she lifted her head slightly and looked over at him. Or rather, glared. Yup, that's what she planned to do about this whole situation. Just glare at him until he did something about it. So she just continued to glare at him all the time he talked to his brother. Not to say she wasn't listenning. Actually, she was quite happy that he decided to let Logan stay. Of course, she would've made him anyway. But this stopped her having to go to all the trouble of morphing into some ginormous dinosaur and eating him until he agreed. Yeah, that'd be a little over the top. Perhaps. But at least it'd work. Unless she actually did eat him. That might be a bit of a problem. Hmm, not to mention that someone would probably realise if a giant dinosaur appeared out of nowhere. Or the fact that there was a real, alive dinosaur at all, walking around in the forest. yeah. And then she'd probably have to eat them too. Even though she really didn't want to do that. But if she didn't, then they might talk, and then they'd have to go into this whole big thing and it'd just be really annoying and completely unneccessary and yeah. So she was pretty glad that he had just let the guy stay. It was so much easily that way. For all of them. Even they had no idea. What could have happened.
Then he started talking once more and Abbey Sue couldn't help but smile at his words. She had won! He was getting her clothes. But where from? She really was slightly confused about that little detail which continued to go unsaid. Wait, what? Shove his clothes.. Oh. He was changing into another animal. That made sense. But it still didn't explain where he was going to get the clothes from. After all, she could easily just go back to her place and get changed there, but it'd take too long. Especially if she had to walk back as a human. So where did he plan on getting some clothes for her? Perhaps he lived somewhere around here. But then again, they were practically in the middle of the forest right now. So unless he was a lonely old hermit that lived in the forest in a little wooden shack, his house too must be pretty far away. So what was he going to do? That part still caused a cloud of confusion to float through the teens mind. Oh well, guess she'd just have to wait and see. Before she knew it, Leo had yanked off his shirt (and in doing so exposed his deliciously hot toned chest), and began running away from them. Quite quickly he vanished into the densely growing trees of the forest, though she could sworn that she had seen him turn into something bit and orange and black. Some sort of big cat perhaps. Well, it certainly would be faster that running as a human. But she still had no idea where he was going. He could've at least told them, and then she wouldn't bother worrying about it. Hearing Logan mutter to himself softly, Abbey Sue turned to face him, watching him curiously. A slight expression of confusion, as well as the underlying curiosity covered her features. What on earth did he mean by that? Oh. He began to explain. Was he a mind reader or something, cause that just there was pretty freaky. Or at least she thought so. As she listened to his explanation, she simply nodded her head slowly. Not like she could actually say something..
As the breeze picked up slightly in strength, playing with her tassels and picking up her tail, making it flow out behind her like a flag, the fae pawed the ground in annoyance, shaking her head, which just sent her tassels flying even more wildly. So annoying. Slightly fed up with her mane going in her eyes constantly with this wind, she closed her eyes and felt the familiar tingling sensation flow through her body as she shapeshifted. When she opened her now beautiful aquamarine eyes, she was a cougar. The stunning feline paced for a second or two, loving the feel of the earth beneath her big paws. Suddenly she stopped, remembering that she wasn't alone and turned to look at the guy. Cocking her head slightly to the side, she smiled the best she could. This form wasn't exactly one of her more common ones to morph into, but at least with her short coat, the wind didn't bother her at all anymore. Not even bothering trying to communicate, the lioness sighed slightly and lay down, resting her head on her paws as she retracted her long claws. Suddenly, hearing that same thundering, the feline lifted her head, blue optics scanning the trees for an signs of Leo. Before long, he burst out from between the trees. A magnificent tiger. That explained the flash of orange she had spotted earlier. As he nudged the bundle of clothes towards her, she took them into her mouth, careful not to damage them in any way. She then watched as he took his own clothes, and disappeared back into the trees, before reappearing in his human form once more, still pulling the tee over his head as he made his entrance. As he spoke, Abbey Sue walked over to him with a cougar equivilant of a chuckle. She nudged him playfully with her nose, before rubbing her head against his shoulder in thanks. Just so that he knew she wasn't mad at him anymore. As he spoke once more, she nodded and immediately turned and bounded into the trees. When she was sure that she was out of sight, she morphed back into a human and put on the clothes that Leo had found her.
Surprisingly, they fit. Which was quite odd indeed, seeing as he had never seen her as a human before. Woah, even that was a little weird in itself. After all, she felt as though she had known the guy for years, and yet they had only just met earlier that night. Strange. Okay, so they weren't a perfect fit exactly, in that they were a size or two bigger than she'd usually wear, but it wasn't far off at all. And the clothes weren't completely hideous either. Plain and simple, but they'd do. Jeans, and a printed tee. They would do indeed. Smiling, she ran her hand through her hair, hoping it looked okay, even though she knew that it did, and started jogging back towards the two guys. She wondered what they would think of her. Now that they'd get to see what she looked like as a human. She was pretty short, petite most would say. And thin. Not boney thin, but she was quite lean. Her eyes were big and stood out, especially now that they were that same bright blue that they had been when she'd been a horse. While her hair, perfect as always, was quite long and at the moment, curled into ringlets, and that same chocolatey brown colour that it usually was. All in all, she wasn't really one to stand out in a crowd too much, but most people seemed to think she was pretty good looking. She hoped that the two guys would think so too. After all, both of them were total hotties. Perhaps when they saw her they wouldn't want to hang out at all. They probably had tons of much hotter girls just waiting for them to look their way. Really, she didn't stand a chance. She almost considered not going back at all, but when did she start caring about what other people thought about her. She had always been happy enough with the way she looked, and never thought twice about what people said about her appearance. So why start now. Plus, if they were anywhere near as decent as they had seemed, they shouldn't care what she looked like either. Right? Smiling, and with a new spring in her step, Abbey Sue made the short journey back to where the two bothers were waiting for her.
Seeing them, she walked over to where they were standing, a kind smile still on her lips. "Finally, I can actually speak!" She said with a chuckle, looking from one brother to the other. She opened her mouth, about to say something else when she heard something that made her turn around. The tundering of hooves, pounding against the earth. It was a horse. And it was coming towards them. She watched, waiting to see who this horse was, when a black mare suddenly came through the trees, stopping before them. She was scared, Abbey Sue could tell that much easily from the whites of her eyes that were showing and her general stance. She slowly walked over, and grabbed the mares reins, as she stroked her gently, hoping to calm her down a bit. "What is it girl, what's wrong?" She cooed to the horse. Anyone who had heard her had probably thought that she was just talking to the horse as everyone did, not expecting an answer. But Abbey Sue knew a thing or two about horses, including their language. Even in her human form she could understand them. It was easier as a horse, but she could usually manage to understand them just fine. As the mare answered her with a hesitant nicker, she suddenly realised whose horse this was. It was Midnight. Sorya's horse. "Where's Sorya?" She asked immediately, but this time the mare didn't say anything. Instead, she simply knelt down on one knee, as if offering the girl a ride. Abbey Sue didn't hesitate for a second as she swung herself into the saddle. Remembering the two brothers just standing there, she turned to face them, a worried look on her face. "Sorya's in trouble. Follow if you can." she said, before nudging the mare in the sides. She jumped into a swift canter and headed towards where she assumed the vampyre would be. Abbey Sue only hoped that they wouldn't get there too late. She didn't know what she'd do if the girl was hurt. After all, they had just left her there, alone. No, she had to be okay.

Leo watched as the horse - no wait! She was not the delicate mahogany fea any longer, but a magnificent sandy coloured cougar. Leo raised his eyebrows at her in question, but did not rely on getting any answer anytime soon. Instead, his emerald orbs watched her dissapear into the forest, before looking upon Logan again.
" So, fancy goin' for a ride tomorrow .. " Leo paused and glanced at the sky. The night had faded into a beautiful gold, pale pink streaking the sky, and a tiny patch of sky blue hesitated on the horrizon. Right, it was tomorrow. " Well, i guess later today actually. " He grinned and ran a hand through his tousled hair, catching within it a small broken twig, and pulling it out of the clutches of his hair. Had nobody bothered to tell him that? Leo sighed and bit his lip, a habit he had developed in many in many situations - when he was bored, angry, annoyed, upset. Now, it was just out of boredom.
As he heard the loud crunching on undergrowth beneath human feet, Leo glanced over to the place where Abbey had dissapeared with eager eyes. He had not seen her in human form before, and if putting it midly, he was curious. Was she as pretty as a human as she was a mare, or as wild and well .. sexy as she was a cougar. Green orbs caught sight of her between the trees, like a shadow, a ghost, before she finally came into view.
He felt like he'd ben punched in the stomach. She wasn't tall, but she was shorter than him, and Leo had never felt there was anything bad with short girls. His eyes raked lightly over her face. It was heart-shaped, thin but not too much so, with beautiful large eyes that he felt drawn to. They where the same crystal blue as they had been in her horse form. Her hair was wild, but not really untamable, slightly wild, more like she'd been running through a forest at night. How ironic! Leo noticed that her figure was more and slender, but not annorexic. She was more than pretty, she was gorgeous. But this only added to his liking of her, as he prefered to judge people on character rather than looks. Leo felt a smile spread broad and boyish across his face as she reached them, feeling now a relief that she was back.
Leo chuckled lightly as she spoke about her human form, and then jumped at the sound of unfamiliar pounding hooves. His head snapped to his right, and his orbs watched as the now familiar view of a black mare stumbled into the odd clearing. Leo frowned in confusion as she slid to a halt close to him, and his hands altomatically reached out to grab the reins as they flew toward him. This was Sorya's horse. What the? He barely heard Abbey as she cooed to the mare, and he stood frozen. There had been a mountain lion out last night. He'd come across it's path during his midnight run, but the scent had been old, and the paw prints barely visible. Leo had thought it to be an old trail, but prehaps it had been fresher than he'd thought ... ? Leo's orbs came back into focus, and he blinked as he saw her swing into the saddle and stride away. Leo yanked off his top and jeans and threw them down, before pulling the cool shiver up his spine, and threw himself forward into the new body. The colossal lion bounded forward a few strides before turning swiftly to stand at his brothers side. His long mane shimmered golden in the light, his long tail stiff in anxiety. This shape would be much more deadly than the cougar that he would be up against, and this form was, infact, a lot larger than normal lions too, seeing that Leo could shapeshift into any animal, and change his appearance any way, and having the extra bulk would certainly help when the fight began. And yes, there was no doubt that a fight would happen. The lion stared hard at his brother, willing him to get on, and when he felt the extra weight upon his back, he turned fast and bounded away, his paws pounding the hard ground as the light raced him over the land. Must've been 7am now. He really did not want to have to miss much more sleep, and he couldn't bear the thought of being too late to save Sorya. Silently, he pushed himself faster, breath tearing out of his lungs, his mane tumbled around him as he threw himself over the rocky terrain, and finally bounded across a small dusty path and into another cool section of forest where Sorya lay unconcious, scarlet pusling from her head. A cougar crouched before her, its manical eyes gleaming in triumpth. It wasn't large, but Leo had always found the smaller one's more difficult to beat. After all, being an animal at times, he'd often come across other creatures that where not too excited about him being in 'their' territory.
Leo slid to a halt, and felt the wieght leave him, but he did not turn his head. Instead he crouched and lept forward through the air, his powerful paws hit the cougar in it's chest, and they flew through the air and landed a few meters away from Sorya. Leo's maw opened wide, his gleaming daggers shone in the half-light, and a terribly savage, mighty roar ripped from his chest, vibrating through his through his very soul. The cougar shrank back a little from his paws, but Leo wasn't having that. He raised on paw and smashed his forward, his long claws slashed through the skin of the cougar, but it wriggled backwards out of much of the blow. The animal scrambled away and heaved itself up a tree. Leo scrambled into an upright position, his eyes turned scarlett in his fierce anger as he glared at the creature, prowling the bottom of the tree. Growls rolled from him in frustration, and he stretched up the tree, but found he could not reach the animal.
Yet he was a shape-shifter, was he not? And Leo stood still for a second, closeing his eyes in concentrating. Wrong thing to do. The cougar had been watching, and he saw the lion beneath make a false move, and shut it's eyes. Now, he struck, with an awful racket, it sprang from it's perch and lept upon Leo's back, digging it's sharp claws into the flesh, and sinking its teeth deep into Leo's neck. The lions roared in pain and anger, and twisted it's head, but Leo could not reach. The cougars weight dragged him down, and he scrambled on the floor, rolling over and hearing, with satisfaction, the cougar yelp as he crushed it. When Leo rose once more, he was free, and he dove forward, slashing it's disgusting face in rage.
Yet he was not so experienced as this other, who drew back again and circled Leo, before pouncing on his side. Leo clamped his jaws down on the cougars ear, and tasted the sweet hot flow of blood, before pulling away, feeling his own blood drip from the wounds. He needed a new shape, for as a lion, his bulk was a hinderence, and he was not as opposing as he'd wished he could be. He shivered lightly and drew himself upward into a taller shape. When he opened his eyes, he knew he'd been wrong. He'd attempted to turn into a large bear, for their migth and power was unbeatable, but he saw now that he was in his horse form, and the cougar was about to attack. Crap!! He whinnied in terror as the creature lept at him, for he had not real weapons to match the others, and he had no time to change now. Instead, he reared upward, his hooves flailed in the air, attempting to beat back the animal. But again, he felt sharp pain as the animal collided with his shoulder heavily, and he was thrown bodily to the floor. Ouch, bloody ouch. Something was deffinetly broken! A sickening crunch broke the snarling of the animal, and amist the pained whinnying and scrambling, Leo pulled himself into a bear shape before the cougar could hurt him more, and he threw his new paws wide, flinging the cougar away. It smacked hard into a tree, blood mingled with the leaves, staining the forest floor red. Leo cried out as he pulled himself up, his broken shoulder was intense agony, and he limped forward slowly at the dazed cougar, glaring down at it with his blood red eyes. It stared meekly up at him, knowing it was beaten, knowing it was going to suffer for it's greed. And now, Leo pityed it, and his eyes turned back to emerald. He lifted his right paw high and swiped the creature, but not deadly. Instead, he meerly shoved it hard away, claws raking the skin and leaving marks. The cougar stumbled away. Leo shot forward into another form - the lion, and he let loose another mighty roar, and watched the cougar scamper away fast, its eyes reproachful and full of regret. It would not kill again in a while. . .
Leo turned back to others and limped forwards, his handsome lions face grimmanced in agony as he hesitated, and collapsed beside Sorya, his legs stretched out around him as he sighed and rested his head on his paws. He knew Sorya was alive, for he could see the rise and fall of her chest in the light. He knew his shoulder was broken, and changing into human form would be agony. He knew he'd left his clothes miles away, and he'd have to limp back like this to get them, or risk running back naked as a human, and he also knew that the cougar woould reoffend. But he couldn't kill it, he couldn't!

I soon came to consious for a few moments as i moved my head to see Leo. I then moved a few feet to his side and layed my head on his neck with his mane and went back to total blackness. I then soon noticed the goddess standing by me. She was brining the elements to help calm me. When i came back to consiousness, i looked up at the sky. Cloudly skys. I then gently said in a weak voice, Spirit come to me, i need you to protect me, Leo and everyone else here. Spirit come to me. I could feel a weird but good feeling in my body. I then soon drifted off into unconsiusness again. My hand was laying against Leo's paw. The bleeding on my forehead started to slow, but i knew i needed to have some fresh human blood if i wanted to survive. I was not sure how i was going to get it. But i think i knew who was going to provide it for me. I really did not want to make the imprint stronger between me and Leo. But i knew i had to inorder to survive.
Seeing Nyx seemed to help calm me down. I knew that she was going to protect us while we were injured. But i was glad that Leo was there to help protect me and to save my life. If he were not here, i would have been dead. Midnight then slowly layed by both us and nickered to try and wake me up. But nothing worked. I was unconsious again.
